Whilst perg has many restictions, gameplay generally runs like norm. You farm, you build, you ascend etc etc. Also if you piss off someone or they just have it in for you they can still dish out some hurt. As with norm, there are two underlying factors that affect everything.
Firstly, it is just a game. Too many people take things too seriously (my inbox is testament to that). Not often is anything personal (esp when players are unknown to each other) so just roll with it, learn from it and either get even then or later on (when you are ready, not them). There are some around (myself included) who love stirring up people just for their reactions. Most tend to lash out in a PM and can get very abusive at times (gives us a good old laugh). Another thing to be careful of is addiction. Lets be honest, we all have varying levels, but just be wary of it, and dont let the game take over your life. Nothing wrong with spending time learning, growing and playing, just dont let it come to the point that it controls your life. There has even been one person committ suicide, hence why I mention this.
Secondly, this game evolves constantly. New players, old players changing ways, new rules and updated rules mean you yourself must evlove to keep up or get ahead. Always keep abreast of what is going on, and dont be afraid to adapt. Just because something has worked in the past doesnt mean it will remain that way. Dont get me wrong, by all means, try, retweek and try again, but just know sometimes it just might be neccessary to do a whole revamp of your thinking and account. The best account adapt the fastest and do it the best.
Lastly, I would remind you all that every account came from somewhere. A big account was once a small account (albeit a long time ago). If you apply yourself you just never know what you might acheive. We have all had our ups and downs, but always thinking, adapting and trying gets you too the top. Knowledge is power, and I will be trying to help you guys as much as I can. I might not be the nicest account when I come your way ingame, but I always have time to answer questions here and try to get you to further your game.
